Large jug - Schoonhoven - circa 1933 "Kaviska" 16.5cm H by 18.0cm D Floral decor in pastel muted colours, expertly applied on this Schoonhoven jug. Super shape typical of the period (crisis period) - model number 625 - a design from Frans van Katwijk. Notice the word 'Gemaak' which should be ´Gemaakt´ which is the Dutch for ´made´. A lot of Schoonhoven was exported to South Africa and this piece did indeed come from there. Very hard to find.
