"Grotius"

One of our favourites, the "Grotius" pattern. All the typical Zuid-Holland attributes that we know and admire. This is in perfect, mint condition. It was painted by Jacobus Arie Izaak de Mink.

Interesting to note that the "Limote" pattern is virtually identical except for one small part of the pattern. This part "shifts" from one colour to another. When the pattern name is not on the backstamp, you can then easily tell them apart. Do you know which part? Take a look and see if you can tell here.
