"Paysage decor".

Zuid-Holland piece depicting typical Dutch country life of the windmill (de molen). These scenes were all called 'Paysage' from the French for "landscape". After (naar) an original painting by the Dutch landscape artist Jacob Henricus Maris (1838-1899). See close up of signature on the vase - N: J.Maris - After: J Maris. The vase is not in perfect condition! Maybe we will have it restored one day.

Painted by Wouter Anthonie Nonner - workperiod for Zuid-Holland 1915 to 1934. Model number 88/412.
