GOUDA-DESIGN

Advertisements for PZH.

Taken from "The Pottery Gazette and Glass Trade Review" of 1925/26 and 1930. These pictures show how PZH were marketing their products. The adverts also show the names of two agents from London and Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, UK. This area around Stoke is known as 'The Potteries' and has been a famous pottery producing area for many centuries.

Here you can see when PZH were pleased to show that they had been given the "By Royal Appointment" by the Dutch Royal family. The actual Royal Warrant was dated 23 September 1930. Here in the Gazette of November 1 1930, the advert has changed to reflect this warrant and now says "Royal Gouda Art Pottery".
